Frequently Asked Questions
General questions about construction & delivery
If your question is not answered, please contact us and we would be happy to advise you.
How are they set up? (Self-assembly vs. assembly service)
Almost all sauna variants (especially small variants) can be delivered as a kit or completely assembled.
The delivery and shipping costs depend on the delivery location and the size of the sauna.
Shipping as a kit is cheaper.
The details of your product can be found on the product pages.
How expensive is the transportation?
How do you deliver?
For unloading from the truck, we ask you to provide a forklift, crane or similar device so that we can put your product together at the desired location. We will provide you with further information and options for unloading in the ordering process.
How long before the product is with me?
Who makes the underground / foundation?
It is very important for wooden pavilions that they stay in this place once they have been set up. A good surface is necessary for a secure stand and long durability.
How long does it take to set up?
For example, the Russian Banja builds our team in 2-3 days (2-3 employees work).
We can also build a hobbit sauna in two days.
A sauna house made of round wood with an area of 9 square meters (2 rooms / with the wood stove / canopy 1.5 meters with interior) it would take approx 3 days for the construction with 4 employees working.
Will I be able to build everything on my own? How many people are needed?
Of course, a garden shed is easier to set up than a log cabin made of round wood.
For our main products, we have also made a video with the structure for you. Usually two people are enough to set it up because there are heavy parts (such as the base plate in pavilions or logs in saunas).
Will the log house be set up for a trial run? Are assembly instructions included? Are the screw connections of the logs included?
Then dismantle the log house and deliver as a kit. With the delivery you also get the screw connections of the round timbers.
Questions about product / material / model:
What types of wood are used?
The palette ranges from Siberian spruce and larch to aspen wood. You can also choose for each model yourself.
We would be happy to advise you on this topic.
Where do the logs come from or are they dried?
The wood comes from northern European forests.
Do you also build bigger log houses according to plan?
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for a quote.
Are individual dimensions possible?
Do you need a terrace or a bigger main room? We would not be the TimberTeam if we did not accept special requests. Feel free to contact us with your ideas.
Are there variations, i.e. logs or planks?
Do you also make custom-made products?
From the first idea to completion, we rely on an intensive dialogue with our customer as a real partner.
We accept the wishes of the customers and strive to find the best solution.
Do you only have outdoor saunas?
Do you make buildings to cover jacuzzis?
Are the round planks mutually insulated (e.g. with sheep's wool)?
The sheep’s wool is laid between the 18 cm thick wooden planks for sealing. The roof is insulated with mineral wool.
Questions about the offer:
How can I order?
You will receive an individual offer from us. After placing the order, we will send you a contract with all details.
In this you will find information on the process, dates (delivery, set-up service, etc.) as well as the obligations of the seller and the buyer.
You will receive the contract together with the invoice immediately after placing the order.
When do I receive an offer and how long is your offer valid?
Our offer is usually valid for one month, but we can make an exception and give it a longer period of validity.
At the beginning it is always important to clarify which product suits you best. If you want to buy a sauna, we can offer you many options. Only after clarifying the possibilities and your wishes, we will send the full offer.
If the conversations veers to a custom-made sauna house made of round wood, it may take longer because we have to create the sketches.
What payment methods are possible?
All common payment methods, such as bank transfers, credit cards, debit cards and PayPal payments.
If the goods are delivered by our drivers or the construction service on site, cash payments are also possible. Please let us know your preferred payment method when ordering.
